We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking GP who can join us for 4 sessions a week. Salary is dependent on experience. This position would be suitable for newly qualified GPs or those with more experience. We would welcome your involvement in practice meetings and decisions.

The Role –
We are looking to recruit a Salaried GP to join our team in Talbot Green Group Practice for 6 sessions a week. (or potential to job share 3 sessions times 2 GP’s).
We are an enthusiastic primary healthcare team and training practice located just off the M4 corridor near Llantrisant and the Royal Glamorgan Hospital. We also have a branch surgery in Beddau nearby. There has recently been property development in the local area and as such our practice list has been growing and is now > 12,500 patients.
A successful applicant would need to be available to work all day Tuesday, Wednesday and the other day to be confirmed / negotiated.
Salaried GPs are also involved in periodically covering the afternoon on calls to support absence or annual leave.
We subscribe to most enhanced services available in the locality including minor surgery, wound care/minor illness, DMARD prescribing/monitoring, anticoagulation and contraception/coil fitting to name a few.
As a training practice we enjoy the energy that GP training provides, and we believe helps retain doctors working in the local area and community. A successful applicant would also be involved in GP training providing hot reviews and potentially undertaking tutorials.
Across our partnership we have several special interests so feel we are well placed to support doctors in their professional development as well as becoming part of a friendly and social clinical and administrative team.
Salary for the post is negotiable but would be in keeping with national salary scales for Wales, taking into account the doctors experience and employment history We use the BMA model contract for our salaried GP’s.

Main duties of the job
As a Practice Pharmacist, you will play a central role in supporting the safe and effective use of medicines within our GP practice. Due to the massive increase of demand for services, a position has become available for an enthusiastic Care Navigator/Receptionist. The role requires a self-motivated, disciplined individual to assist with the day-to-day smooth running of the practice. The chosen candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills, be a superb communicator both written and verbally and be flexible and adaptable in their approach to work within the team.
The successful candidate will be working with the public face to face and over the telephone to provide a high level of care and customer service to patients by booking appointments, dealing with general enquiries and navigating to appropriate services. Candidates will also provide administrative support to clinical colleagues.
You will have a caring and courteous manner but focused on the task and enjoy working with a wide variety of people. The successful candidate will also be required to work at times unsupervised and display initiative when resolving queries.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Receptionist/Administrator to join our small friendly team.
We are looking to recruit a Receptionist/Administrator either part time or full time, working 5 days a week between the hours of 8.00am and 6.30pm on a rota basis.
The role includes answering and making telephone calls, booking appointments, working on the reception desk and dealing with queries from patients, clinicians and other health care professionals. Registering patients, prescriptions filing as well as providing general administrative support and leadership to the team and any other duties as requested. The ideal candidate will need excellent IT, effective organisational, communication and interpersonal skills along with the ability to work as both part of a team and on your own initiative is essential.
You must have experience of working in General Practice and ideally have knowledge of Emis. You should be able to cope in a busy, fast paced environment be efficient and organised and have a can do attitude.
