Taff Vale is a well-established training practice serving a patient population of 16,000 in Pontypridd and the surrounding area. We have a friendly and supportive team which values MDT working, clinical excellence and innovation. Due to continued growth and service development, we are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Salaried GP to join our dynamic and passionate clinical team for 6–8 sessions per week (job share considered).

Fairwater Health Centre is a supportive friendly 7 partner training practice, situated in West Cardiff, covering a primarily suburban area, with a small population in more rural locations.
We are a team of dedicated, caring and enthusiastic clinicians, who work closely together to provide excellent health care to our patient. We are committed to maintaining an environment that supports each other, as well as the GP trainees, medical students and GP retainer attached to the practice.
We always meet for coffee after morning surgery and during afternoon surgery, and have a weekly practice meeting. The practice has a young partner age profile.
We are looking for someone who will share our commitment to providing excellent healthcare and will liaise with the partners where appropriate to ensure continuity of care. The successful candidate would perform two sessions on Mondays, plus another session ideally on a Friday. Medical indemnity expenses for the sessions worked at the Practice will be reimbursed.

Vacancy for a Part Time Practice Nurse
We are excited to be advertising for a new practice nurse at our practice in Penarth. The successful candidate would be joining a very motivated and friendly team, providing care to approximately 9500 patients in the Eastern Vale cluster. We are looking for an experienced practice nurse for 28 hours a week (some variation in those hours is negotiable) to cover a Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Consideration will also be given to candidates without practice nurse experience.
Who we are:
We are a very enthusiastic and well-managed and organised practice, established within the Eastern Vale Cluster (EVC) of Cardiff & Vale University Health Board. Currently we have a list size of circa 9,500. One of our partners is the Vale Constituency Lead for the Bro Taf LMC. We provide a full range of enhanced services to our patients including minor surgery, LARC/Coil contraception, nursing home enhanced care and shared care monitoring.
We currently have 3 partners and 3 salaried GP’s who between them provide 36 sessions, a clinical pharmacist, 2 part time nurse’s equivalent to 1.2 WTE and 2 part time HCSW’s.
We are looking for candidates who will share our commitment to providing excellent healthcare to our patients and become part of our team. The successful candidate will be expected to undertake a range of Practice Nurse tasks, including treatment room duties, immunisations, cervical screening, INR monitoring and chronic disease management. Training can be provided for the right candidate.
The candidate must be a Registered General Nurse and fully registered with the NMC. NHS pension available.

This post is for a pharmacist working at our practice for 4 hours per week to hold face-to-face and telephone medication reviews, optimising treatment for long-term conditions and the management of clinics which might include DOAC clinics and chronic disease management. The candidate will provide expert medicines advice to GPs and other healthcare professionals, lead Quality Improvement projects and clinical audits and drive the prescribing team forward with innovation and high-quality patient care and ensure safe and cost-effective prescribing.
