Practice 1 are seeking a Salaried/long term locum GP to join our current team of 2 GP partners, 3 salaried GPs, 4 practice nurses, 2 HCAs, one pharmacist and a very motivated reception and admin team.
The successful candidate would need to be flexible, reliable, punctual and trustworthy. Our current list size is 9000 patients, and we only have one dedicated location (no branch surgeries), which is situated in a newly built health park on the outskirts of Merthyr Tydfil town centre.
The location is within close proximity to both Cardiff and Swansea and has a large car parking area available.
We have added services available within the practice e.g. physiotherapy, common ailments service, General Practice Support Officer, minor op and baby clinic along with an extensive list of enhanced services.
Salary to be discussed depending on experience.
Sessions: 6 sessions per week. (Tuesday, Thursday, Friday)
We offer 6 weeks annual leave per year and study leave dependent on the role.
We are a training practice for GP registrars, medical students, nursing students and can accommodate work experience when required.
This is an immediate start position.

Salaried GP – Key Responsibilities

· Providing High-Quality Patient Care – Deliver safe, timely, effective, and patient-centred consultations, managing acute & routine consultations either by F2F or telephone consultations.
· Contributing to a Multidisciplinary Team – Work collaboratively with paramedics, nurses, pharmacists, to provide holistic patient care.

De Winton Field Practice is a training practice with a current list size of 9,350 patients and we are looking for an enthusiastic salaried GP to join the Practice’s expanding team on a permanent basis. We provide high quality primary care services in a newly refurbished purpose built health centre.
The Practice is looking for a salaried GP to work between 2-6 sessions per week. The sessions available are to cover a Tuesday in the first instance with a Wednesday and/ Thursday for the other two days. However, these can be negotiated for the right candidate. We offer a competitive salary with 6 weeks annual leave and one weeks study leave.
There are currently 4 GP partners and 4 salaried GPs, the practice is committed to high quality care and the continued development of the team. De Winton Field currently uses the Vision clinical system, but this will change to EMIS at some point. De Winton Field Practice is part of the Rhondda Cluster. Other team members include a cluster pharmacist, a pharmacy technician, 2 practice nurses and 3 HCAs as well as an experienced reception team. There is a weekly physiotherapist clinic, a well-being coordinator and Mental Health Practitioners.

The Practice looking for an experienced, dynamic and enthusiastic Practice Nurse/Advance Nurse Practitioner to join our friendly and supportive team to cover maternity leave from June 2025. We are a small sized practice of around 5,000 patients in Canton, Cardiff. We are an EMIS practice.
We require 3 days of cover per week, a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
You will be automatically enrolled into the NHS pension, and you will be paid a band 6/7 salaried scale pro rata depending on skills and experience.
The candidate must be fully registered with the NMC and be a Registered General Nurse.
We are looking for someone who will share our commitment to providing excellent healthcare to our patients, and become an active member of our team. The successful candidate will be expected to undertake a range of practice nursing tasks, therefore experience in practice nursing is essential.
Being able to deliver respiratory care, diabetes, contraception, wound care and child/adult vaccinations is desirable.
The surgery consists of two GP partners, one salaried GP and an Advance Nurse Practitioner We also have two experienced Health Support Care Assistants.

De Winton Field Practice is a training practice situated in Tonypandy with a current list size of 9,350 patients and we are looking to expand our nursing team. We provide high quality primary care services in a modern health centre setting. The practice is located approximately 30 minutes from Cardiff with good transportation links. The practice is currently a Vision software practice but will be moving over to EMIS soon.
The Practice is looking for a Band 5/ 6 Practice Nurse, rate of pay will be dependent on level of experience and qualifications. Hours of work will be between 8.30am – 6.30pm. The working days and hours are negotiable for the right candidate. This is a permanent post after a successful probationary period.
Annual leave and Bank Holidays will be pro rata to the hours worked. The practice currently offers 5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays whole time equivalent (WTE).

This is an exciting and challenging role in a busy environment. You will be part of a friendly, growing team and wider team of receptionists, doctors, nurses, and administrative staff.
You should be capable, enthusiastic, with proven accurate and efficient keyboard skills. Meticulous attention to detail is an essential part of the role. Prioritising a busy workload, being a good team player and having the ability to undertake a wide range of duties are some of the qualities you should have.
Full training and support will be provided with a structured induction period to ensure a full understanding of the VISION clinical system and our internal working processes. However, you should have sound, general computer knowledge.
This is a permanent contract, subject to successful probation period. Normal hours of work will be 26 hours per week: Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri 1.00pm – 6.15pm and Wednesday 8am – 1.00pm.
